Saturday the 14th of November rolled on a lot quicker than I had anticipated and with the reports of huge swells and surf brought feeling of, well lets just call it nervouse excitement!

The Surf at Vic Bay was huge as predicted but with a very skilled driver in the front of the double I was confident we would make it out in one piece. We actually managed to make it out looking rather skilled!

Once out the bay the swell was pretty substantial and made for a difficult time paddling to Sedgefield, by the time we got to Gerika's point I must admit my sence of humour was wearing thin. The sets looked huge but we figured they were all like that so picked a wave and headed in to the finish.... Bad Idea
